Composer, C. Kenneth Lee李俊佳, pianist, actor, former Best Buddies Chapter Vice-President and Torrey Pines
Idol Contest Finalist Singer began as a New Age artist. His first hit single, "An Ocean Of Memories" on iTunes
made him popular since 2006. Apart from being sponsored to have his own solo concerts in USA(PRINCESS
CRUISES), Australia, & Hong Kong(eg. THE ROYAL GARDEN HOTEL ) , collaborating , featuring and
being/having been a member of many bands and choirs as well as being a diverse up and coming Classical-
crossover solo recording artist with 3 main solo fundraising CDs (supporting Best Buddies, American Cancer
Society & UNICEF) for sale on Amazon, iTUNES, Rhapsody, Napster & other stores, Lee is also best known for
his 3 lead acting and singing roles in the California Institute Of Music Musicals as "Rolf" in (2004-5)THE SOUND
OF MUSIC, "the prince" in (2005) CINDERELLA, & "Calpernia Addams" in Cal Art's play production of (2009)THE
VAGINA MONOLOGUES out of the 16 theatre and film roles. Lee received The California Institute of Music's
"Creative Student Leadership Award" from the institute's chairman in 2005 for his role as the director's coaching
and blocking assistant as well as contributions as a performer-composer and actor. Apart from acting in musicals,
plays, films, attending advanced school drama classes since 1992, Lee has worked with a casting director at Stu
Segal Productions in San Diego, trained at the stage acting workshop at The La Jolla Playhouse, and the big
screen acting workshop at The California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts). Lee has worked musically with and
assisted with artists like Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, David Rosenboom, Vicky Fung (Chinese songwriter for
Cantonese pop stars i.e. Sammy Cheng & Joey Yung.etc), Carlsbad Music Festival and other groups and artists
in the U.S and in Hong Kong.
Lee also appeared in The Los Angeles Original Musical Cast Premiere & tour with Meredith Monk and Ann
Hamilton in (2008) SONGS OF ASCENSION at REDCAT in The Walt Disney Concert Hall from Oct 29-Nov 2 &
(2008) MUSIC AND THE VOICE which premiered on Sep 19 also at REDCAT in The Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Lee was also to make a brief appearance in the new MTV Series, “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory”, but his
scenes were deleted. Lee has studied piano & composition with an alumni from The Julliard School , an alumni
from The Eastman School of Music, and has also completed and satisfactorily passed The CalArts
Herb Alpert School Of Music Piano Proficiency Exam . Lee has attended Northwestern University's National High
School Music Institute, The Walnut Hill School. etc. Lee has also studied composition/worked with Augusta Read
Thomas, Morton Subotnick, William E. Powell(Julliard School Alumni ’70), Steve Hoey, David Rosenboom and
more. Lee has also been featured in several newspapers and on radio broadcasts from the USA and Australia.
